    Update a formula for Access 2010

    Hi,

    Can anyone please help me update this formula for Excel 2010?

    =SUMPRODUCT((Tracker!$E$2:$E$1000>=($A3))*(Tracker!$E$2:$E$1000<=($B3))*(Tracker!$H$2:$H$1000="Y"))

    I have a tab with dates in weekly row. ie 1 Aug to 6 Aug, 7 Aug - 13 Aug etc. I then want to look at my tracker tab to find corresponding dates that have a Y in the H column.
    I also don't have 1000 rows. I am currently at 30 but this will change over time as more rows are added.

    I think I should be using COUNTIFS but I am unsure how to change it.

    Hoping someone can assist.

    Thank you

    Tina

    Try: =countifs(Tracker!E:E,">="&$A3,Tracker!E:E,"<="&$B3,Tracker!H:H,"=Y")

    Unless I'm very much mistaken, COUNTIFS will work perfectly well with whole column references (which SUMPRODUCT definitley does not like).

    Hi Glen and John

    Thank you for your replies - the COUNTIFS works and is content with whole column references too.

    Thank you very much.
