Get value from Sheet 2 to sheet 1

    Hello All
I have what I think is a easy formula but I can't get it to work.

Here is what I have ( Baseball game sheet

Sheet A1 is a Game name
Sheet 2 columns have the game names

Sheet 2 name is "Game List"

    On Sheet 1 I have a cell with this command ( ='Game List'!U3 )
This action picks up the Game Name from cell U3

I would like to have a action on Sheet 1 that would change the U3 to the next Column V3
    I have tried If cell P3 on sheet 1 = V then the command (='Game List'!V3)

Need a command to embed into the =Game List to advance the column

I have attached a sample I hope it works.
    In the sample the value on Sheet 1 ( C1 and E1 }
I would like to find a way to advance from Column A to Z and pick up the info.
At this moment I have to change the column in C1 and E1 each time.

    John

Re: Get value from Sheet 2 to sheet 1

So, what I've done in the attached file is to change the "Game X" to be an input (see cell in yellow). That is, you can change E1 to 1, 2, 3, ..., 20. (the word "Game" that appears is a formatting).

I have then changed the formulas in C1, C2, and H1 (cells in orange), to look up the Game List sheet, and pick up the appropriate reference by using the INDEX function.

Is this what you are looking for?

    Thank you quekbc

Yes I see when I place a Game number The Date and Time change.

Perfect. I will do more research on the "Index" function.

    Great Work
