I can't get my VLOOKUP to work?

In cell A1, I have the fund name: 'Man OM-IP 140 Plus - NZD Shares'
In cell B1, I'm trying to enter a VLOOKUP formula which will search the list of fund names in column P and return the corresponding price in column Q.

So far my formual looks like this:
    =VLOOKUP(A1,P1:Q708,2,FALSE)

However, this is just displaying: #N/A ?

I can only guess that this is because of the cell I am trying to lookup but I'm not sure how to fix this...does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

Re: I can't get my VLOOKUP to work?

#N/A indicates it can't find the value.
Sometimes data LOOKS the same but is not, eg. extra spaces typed in etc., blank cells that really contain CHAR(160) etc

Attach a sample spreadsheet, remove any sensitive data.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

A data problem: if there is not an EXACT match e.g. leading blank on your search field (A1) you will get your error.

I tried with your posted example and it was OK.
