Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

Working on Windows 2007

I have a worksheet set up and it uses a sumifs formula in worksheet B to pull in from a worksheet A in another folder. When both sheets are open it works fine but when I shut down the worksheet A the cell in worksheet B changes to #VALUE. I've read that dependencies are reliant on both being open but this isn't possible for what I need. Does anyone know a way around it?
