    Formula based on cell format

Hi, I'm trying to run a very simple IF function but I want the criteria to be the format of one of the look up cells.

For example; if c34 has a colour fill then multiply by 50% else 0.

I'm not even sure if this is possible so if it's not please let me know.

Is there a conditional format coloring the cell? You can set that up in a formula if the cell is colored because it meets certain conditions.

Re: Formula based on cell format

    Hi,

There wasn't any conditional formatting in the cell but there potentially could be which, of course, would resolve the problem.

Thanks. I think I can make that work.
