Need formula that calculating price or(and) margin!

Hi, Guys.

This is my 1st post. LOL
It is nice to meet you all of you.

I am working quote sheet as attached.
I am getting price based on Margin % but after I got price sometimes I'd like to change the certain number.

For example. Price came out $0.95 and I changed to $1.00 without changing margin number.

In this case If I put new number on price, my formula is gone.

I need formula that works both way. If I change either margin% or price they work together.

I really need your help~

That's the way Excel works... and there is no way other than using VBA to reinsert your formula automatically if you enter a manual price and delete it.

Otherwise, you can use a helper column for manual price entry, where the formula checks for an entry and inserts instead of calculated price.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

A cell can only hold a value or formula at any one time.
Unless you use a second set of columns for price and margin % and use IF tests in the additional columns you'll need to use a macro which is what the attached does.
