Hi,
I wants to apply Data validation on cells (which already containing sum formulas) .
The error message has to appear if the sum values i.e. column I, goes below 0.
Please refer the attachment.

Select F2:I2 and use below formula in Custom (Data validation)
=$E2-SUM($F2:$H2)>=0

Thanks Siva for the help..
But the data validation is working only in Row no. 2 to 7.
From row no. 8 no error is appearing if the sum value goes below 0.
Do I need to apply data validation in every single row and one at a time as the validation formula changes every row.
Please help.

Copy F2:H2 and paste in the selected range.

On the sample file row 8 does not go below zero. if you make F8=7 then I8=-2 and is highlighted in red.
For most of data columns F,G and H are empty (0) so all the results in I are positive or 0 (Zero).
