    inserting blank rows between every two rows in excel

    dear all,
    I want to change my excel file in such a way blank rows be inserted between any two rows.
    I know how to do this, but after changing my file, when I open it with notepad++, vertical lines of dots has been inserted in blank rows.
    I have attached an image showing the result in notepad++.
    Is there anybody here know how to avoid these dots.
