Nested IF returning TEXT values

I'm creating a training assessment for my department and would like the yellow hilighted cell (in attached doc) to be returning the "C" column options from the legend (C25:C27)

(*side note: I'm using a quarterly assessment as the template, so similar, but different end-result needs)

The original need I was previously using my formula for worked perfectly, but it was to reflect percentage results. I was hoping I could just plug n play the text I wanted, but no .

if it could also format to the color associated with each legend option (C25:C27), that would be ideal.

my formula:

=IF(C13>=900,"Above Average)+IF(AND((C13>=800),(C13<900)),"Unacceptable")

for example, if my formula was working how I wanted in my attached example, the yellow hilighted cell would mirror cell C26, "Average"

IF(C13>=900,"Above Average",IF(C13>=800,"Acceptable","Unacceptable"))

I just noticved the bit about conditional formatting. See the attached file. However, I messed up the formula in C13 during testing; you'll have to restore it!!
