pick the corresponding Rate based on multiple selections and the term selected

    Dear Forum Expert,

First of all thank you very much to give me the solution of my previous post using INDEX MATCH function.

Yet again, here is another table on which I am working but unfortunately I was unable to get it done.

On the updated sheet I need to pick the corresponding Rate based on multiple selections and the term selected. All the data is on one sheet called “GRID DATA”.

Here is the example of a selection and what should be the result:

    Start Month: 15-AUG
    Zone: Houston Zone
    Profile: Low Load Profile
    Term Entered: 24
    Rate: 4.51₵
The rate should be average of 24 rows Starting from 15-August (based on the start month selected), in Column ‘Houston Zone’ (the Zone selected), for the profile ‘Low Load Profile’ (the profile selected).

    Example 2:
    Start Month: 15-OCT
    Zone: Houston Zone
    Profile: High Load Profile
    Term Entered: 9
    Rate: 3.88₵
The rate should be average of 9 rows Starting from 15-OCT (based on the start month selected), in Column ‘Houston Zone’ (the Zone selected), for the profile ‘High Load Profile’ (the profile selected).

    Awaiting feedback. Thanks and Regards.

Re: Excel Formula/function for this Table

I should have added that htis is an array formula which must be set with CTRL SHIFT ENTER and not just enter...

Re: Excel Formula/function for this Table

    Dear Forum Expert,

    Thanks for your support.

Is it possible to develop a formula to generate results on column number C6 of worksheet named "RATE BASED ON PROFILE" as I need to keep those drop down menus for data input and I will put the terms manually.

Or alternatively is it possible to create a drop down menu for column C5 "terms (6 , 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24)" and develop the formula to get the auto result in "C6 Rate" of RATE BASED ON PROFILE sheet based on the multiple selection from "GRID DATA."

    Appreciate your earliest feedback. Regards.
