Activex Option Button - link to multiple cells depending on input from another cell?

I would appreciate some help. I'm not even sure if it's possible..

I am creating a spreadsheet that can automatically generate an invoice for me, but I would like to use Option Buttons on the actual invoice.

Currently, I have it set up that if I select a certain invoice number, all the data referring to that invoice (on another worksheet) shows up on the Invoice.

My question is: can I use that sort of formula (based on the invoice number) to select the input from a certain row on another worksheet into an activex Option Button?

    TIA!

I am not clear on what your final question means. An option button is set up in groups, so that exactly one can be selected. What item do you want to associate with each option button? You said select from a certain row--does each row represent one invoice? If you want to use a control to select an invoice, you probably want to use a dropdown list. An option button is pretty static, whereas a dropdown list (using Data Validation, List) can dynamically update as the invoice list changes.

Hi 6StringJazzer, thank you for your reply. I wasn't very clear, as I didn't know how to say what I wanted, but after a bit of testing, I have solved it myself.

I changed the Activex Option Button I was using to a Form Field one and it was then able to take 'input' from a cell. I, then set up a cell elsewhere that had my criteria in it, then linked that cell (with criteria) to the cell that was linked to the Option Buttons.

I don't know if that makes any sense whatsoever - sorry! Thank you once again!

Makes sense and thanks for the updates. Just for future reference you can do exactly the same thing with ActiveX option buttons.
