Converting daily data into weekly and making the weekly number a cumulative return

So i have a workbook with thousands of rows of data that was collected on a daily basis. I need to convert this data to a weekly cumulative return for every friday. (example: FriCumulative=(1+sat)*(1+sun)*(1+mon)*(1+tue)*(1+wed)*(1+thurs)*(1+fri) - 1)

Please help, excel file is too large to upload

okay so there are 60 columns with daily data and I need each column converted to a weekly cumulative return.

The sample actually starts on a Saturday, you can check that by using =TEXT(A2,"ddd")

I added an updated Sheet2 which has an example of what I want, with the cumulative return function I want. I was just wondering if there was a faster way of going about this since there is so much data in the original workbook and if there was a quick function in excel to do that cumulative return instead of this long version.

okay thank you, also if possible, I would like a way to have all of the weekly data in nice columns without 6 cells in between each one. I could go in and delete the cells in between manually but with the amount of data I have it could take days

thank you very much, but you summed the values instead of getting the cumulative return. any way you could change it to cumulative? (cumulative as in compounding percentages)
