Excel reporting that it has run out of resources and so cannot evaluate my formulas

I would appreciate help with this problem of Excel reporting that it has run out of resources and so cannot evaluate my formulas.

I thought it may have been that the spreadsheet was too busy, so I copied just the first sheet and removed as much of the non-required info, (reducing from 23MB to 7.3MB) but still the problem remains. I have removed the conditional formatting.

    I am running Excel 2013, W8.1, in a 16GB RAM, i7-4800MQ at 2.7GHz, so I cannot fathom what limitation I am hitting.

In the attached spreadsheet, the troublesome formulas are in B2802 - B2854, & C2802 - C2854. The problem first came up when I copied across from the B col to the C col.

I tried to get a link to my OneDrive, but I'm afraid it defeated me. I hope this link with MediaFire will do.

check to see if you have a bunch of "extra" styles....here is a macro called stylekiller.....it removes any non-standard style and takes about 5 minute or so to run...If you think it'll help....

it seems silly but XL sometimes does weird things with styles....HTH

    Hi Judge,

I decided the problem may be that I was running 32bit Excel. So I switched to 64bit and that seems to allow all Excel's resources to be available.

I did run your StyleKill (adjusted by turning off automatic calc at the start and then turning it on again at the end). It ran quickly, but it didn't report anything - so presumably my sheet is OK.

Thanks again for your guidance and macro.

    Ian
