Vlookup...Lookup function appears to not be matching, producing #N/A

Having trouble with vlookup function. DD column on DK salaires tab producing #N/A result. I think it has something to do with how the text is formatted on the DD tab but cannot figure out what is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

You are correct in that it is formatting. I tested by copying from DK tab to DD tab the names of the first two players and then Column DD completes with data. You may want to sort alpha the DK tab and then sort the DD tab alpha and copy and paste names.

You have 2 problems with the names in column A on the DD Sheet.

    1) The spaces between first and last name are not really spaces.
They're Hard Returns, ASCII code 160.
Resolve this by using the Find/Replace tool
IN the Find box, hold down the ALT key and type 0160 with the numberpad on the right side of keyboard
In the Replace With box, press the space bar
    Replace All

    2) Many of the names have trailing spaces at the end. "Lastname Firstname " instead of "Lastname Firstname"
    You'll likely have to use
=TRIM(A2) in an adjescent column, then copy/pastespecial/values on top of the original.
