Hi I have 2 sheet with data and I need to link using vlookup.
Sheet 1
ABC Ltd
Corporate LLP
Delta, Mbh
Sheet 2
ABC
Corporate
Delta
Problem facing in sheet 2 "ltd, LLP, Mbh" is not mention.
I need to use vlookup to extract the data to sheet 1 and there is 4000 rows there in excel.
Any Excel guru have a solution
before spending time on this, I think that we need to see a more complete picture of the RANGE of possibilities that exist. Is it JUST Ltd, LLP, Mbh, or are there others that you haven't mentioned? It would also be much easier if you posted a sample spreadsheet. It doesn't have to be 4000 rows!! - just enough to follow the whole problem.

No answer... So I have assumed that the answer is yes. In your example, there were a few names that had commas after the comany name and some that did not. Are there any other possibilities here?
Take a look at this solution, which addresses the range of examples in your posted sheet.
In your real data can there be multi-word names like "corporate nonsense solutions Ltd"
