Dear All,

To use solver you have to define goal function which depends on same changed variables.
As your goal is to have average price equal 1 mill you shall have a cell with a function where this average is calculetaed. Let's use for this cell D7 as in your example and write there approppriate formula:
Formula:![]()

of course while prices are ? it show error but once there will be numbers in D2:D6 it will work fine
How these numbers shall be calculated - if you want to have the price growning with decreasing supply you can do this by having a formula which relates price with inversed supply.
simple form would be for instance:
Formula:![]()

let's assume that base price is 0.5 mill and your price_increase_for_low_supply_factor will be stored in a cell C9 (write there some value - say 0 for the start)
then in D2 you can write:
Formula:![]()

and copy down - as you see all prices are at the moment 0.5 mill because the influence of short supply is 0
But we had set up the scenes for solver - use it - your D7 is a goal. you want there value of 1 mill changing cell(s) C9.
Run solver and see proposed prices. It you are happu with that - perfect if not - experiment with other base prices or modifications of the formula to suit your taste.
Best Regards,
Kaper
thank you for your help kaper, any other experiment modification function from anyone? please share... thanks again
another proposition - cell D2 and copy down:
Formula:![]()
Please Login or Register to view this content.
and run solver again
Yet another
Formula:![]()

etc.
thanks again kaper, i just put this on solve.
