Extract Following Format Phone Number

Hi,

I am looking for excel formula that extracts Phone numbers from column that contain below format.

Example:
Format: ##-#### ####
Phone No: 45-5879 2647

What is the original text in column that contains phone no?
i.e "My number is 45-9999 4444 pls call me"

What do you mean by extract? What do you want to happen with the cells that meet this condition?

Here is the example, In below example we can see Phone Number, Text and Special Characters. Now in A2:A9 column you can see
"###-########" (Phone Number Format), I have bulk data in same format. Now I want formula that search & pull phone numbers from left side that contain the same format, As I shown in result.

this is an ARRAY formula
So put it with Ctrl+Shift+Enter in the cell instead of just enter as we usually do...

Put this is B2 and copy down
It should work for most of your cases...although there may be some exceptions

But still I am not getting exact result what I am looking for!!!

This pulls all the phone numbers from Left Side like...90352 22222, I need only phone numbers that having in "000-00000000" Format.

Yes as I told there may be some exceptions...please tell for what values this is not working....maybe I can improve it further but it seems to be difficult

This formula would pull the number from the left side only when desired format is not found

By the way I hope you used it as an array formula
