    Converting cell height/weight

I have an excel spreadsheet with around 800 people's height/weight. The problem I am having is that the cells height are listed, for example a person who is 5'11" tall the cell value looks like 511. I would want to know a way to adjust these cells into 5'11", so I can obtain their BMI. Any solutions?

I would think you want to convert it to inches. I have a spreadsheet that calculates BMI and there's a formula for meters and the one I use that uses inches.
So if you have 511 in cell A1, this would convert it to 71 for inches.

    Another way: =12*DOLLARDE(A1/100, 12)
