Determining is one column has data that can be found in another

Hi everybody, this is my first post here. I am completely stuck right now. I'm trying to create a formula to find out if data in column A can be found in column B.

So far what I have is: =IF(ISERROR(MATCH(A2,B:B,0)),"D","HA")
D mean Delete, HA means Has Assets

I thought this formula worked for me, but as I'm crunching through 3k+ pieces of data to ensure validity, I'm finding that not only is it telling me that certain pieces of data aren't found in column B when they are, but it's also not labeling D when appropriate. I'm completely stuck.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and please let me know if you need any more info!

Could you post some sample data to give us a better idea of the issue?

Sure. Some context is I'm doing some asset management and I'm comparing a table of Model Numbers in my database to Model Numbers that have assets tied to them. Basically we have a lot of Model Numbers with no assets, so we can delete them from our database and keep everything cleaned up.

A: All Model Numbers |B: Model Numbers in Use
    1| Acer 123 |Model 325
    2| Model 568 |Model 123
    3| Dell 223 |Model 568
    4| gX 530 |Acer 123
    --------------------------------------------------------
If the formula was working correctly it would say that A1 has assets and A2 has assets. It would tell me to delete A3 and A4

Thank you! I actually was doing some checks and it looks like the data I exported was inaccurate. Thank you for your help!
