I need to match customer names with different formats

I am trying to pull info from two different systems. The customer name in the first is first then last (Ann Laber
) the second is formatted last, first (Laber, Ann). Is there a simple way to make one format the same as the other. Does not matter which format.

thanks, Marilyn

Re: I need to match customer names with different formats

Hi, welcome to the forum

Are they always just 2 names, no middle initial?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

If there are just 2 names, try this (doesnt matter which way round you do it)...
A
B
1
aa, bb bb, aa
2
bb, cc cc, bb
3
cc, dd dd, cc

B1=MID(A1,FIND(",",A1,1)+2,99)&", "&LEFT(A1,FIND(",",A1,1)-1)
copied down
