    Timesheet Calculator

    Hi,

I'm trying to work out how much time my business is losing to various activities based on a report I get from staff timesheets. I've attached a copy of the report I get with the irrelevant info removed. The report I get only gives me what you'll see in columns A to J. I've set a quick table up in columns M and N with the info I need working out.

    Can anyone help please?

    Many Thanks

    Re: Timesheet Calculator

Isn't this just a simple SUMIF

    =SUMIF(J$3:J$43,M3,G$3:G$43)

    and copy down

Not sure why Im only getting figures in N4 though...?

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

    Re: Timesheet Calculator

    Column G should be numbers

    in K3
    =G3+0
copy down as far as K43

Now copy K3:K43 and Past as Values into column G and format as time
The calculations are now correct as column G are now numbers
    Clear column K

    Re: Timesheet Calculator

Thanks for the reply, is there no easier way than that though? These reports are sometimes 50,000 lines long depending on what period of time I'm reporting on :-\
