COUNTA function to count from first cell to date in column header

Hello,
I have a spreadsheet with the dates of weekdays in row 3 as column headers. I'm looking to use a COUNTA function to count the number of cells with text in a row but to stop counting when it reaches the column with today's date. This to achieve a year to date count of meetings scheduled (Column 'F').

for example the formula in F18 in row 18 =COUNTA(I18:JH18)

Instead of the COUNTA function starting at I18 and finishing at JH18, I need it to start at I18 and finish the count at the column that has todays date as a header.
