How to truncate numbers on right side of alphabets

Example 1) 1PMJ10-000334
Example 2) RMJ8-012565455
I need two formulas. One will output 1PMJ in example 1 or RMJ in example 2.

Second formula, I need it to output 10 in example 1 or 8 in example 2.

I am a beginner in excel. formulas are helpful. Any answers using VBA, please give full instruction(codes and what to type in the cell). Thanks.

No, it could be random numbers or alphabets. For example 8AND00009-01234567 OR APMYV222-26788. I need to extract two parts from these two examples, 8AND from ex)1 and APMYV from ex )2. I also need to fill another column with numeric values left of the alphabets and right of the "-" excluding zeros. In the example above, I need "9" and "222"
