When is product due, and how much?

Hi all,

this is all new and im not sure if ive been able to attach my screenshot or not?! hopefully so.....

Basically, i'm playing around with something at home that i want to use at work on a bigger spreadsheet. I've shown steps on the attahced

step1: start and end dates and their corresponding week number
step 2: linelist of all dates and a vlookup to the previous step to show the week number (i tried to skip this bit and just have a LOOKUP FORMUALA to step 1 but in the bigger sheet this doesnt work)
step 3: sku product numbers, with specific promise dates and the quantity expected in on this date, ive then looked up the week number also.
step 4: this is what i want to see at the end.....for each sku, based on its promise date, what week is this due in and what quantity.

i'm really new to Excel and the most complex i can do is an index and match. Can anyone help in what formula(s) would be best to pull this together if possible?

thanks all,

lyndsey

Re: Help on formulaes to get this data sheet?

See the attachment

By the way, may be moderator will ask you to change the Title Post, because this rule no 1 of this forum "Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution"

May be you can change the title post to "Vlookup or Index Match to retrieve the data"

Hi Lyndsey, welcome to the forum

I have changed your title to something (I think) that better describes your problem?

Also, instead of a screen shot, please upload a sample of your workbook. Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you
Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls and stuff)

Your workbook should show a small desensitized example of the data you are working with and a manual mockup of the expected results.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
