PLEASE HELP: Return Duplicate Values with V-lookup

Hi All,

I know this topic has been beaten to death but I have literally been trying for two hours to get this to work, and cannot for the life of me at this point. FYI I've already read through several threads.

In the attachment, I am trying to return "Weekend" in cell A5. I know I need to use an INDEX function along with SMALL and COUNTIF but just can't get the syntax to work. I left the VLOOKUPs in column A just to show that they are not working.

Can someone please help so I can go to sleep already?!
