    Angry PLEASE HELP: Return Duplicate Values with V-lookup

    Hi All,

    I know this topic has been beaten to death but I have literally been trying for two hours to get this to work, and cannot for the life of me at this point. FYI I've already read through several threads.

    In the attachment, I am trying to return "Weekend" in cell A5. I know I need to use an INDEX function along with SMALL and COUNTIF but just can't get the syntax to work. I left the VLOOKUPs in column A just to show that they are not working.

    Can someone please help so I can go to sleep already?!

    In A2 Cell - Array Formula - Requires CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER


    =IFERROR(INDEX($G$2:$G$13,SMALL(IF($F$2:$F$13=B2,ROW($F$2:$F$13)-ROW($F$2)+1),COUNTIF($B$1:B2,B2))),"")


    Drag it down....

    Array formulas need to be entered using the key combination of CTRL,SHIFT,ENTER (not just ENTER). Hold down both the CTRL key and the SHIFT key then hit ENTER.

    Thank you! Do you know of any resources online that explain that type of formula step by step? I really want to be able to nail something like this down in the future. If you wouldn't mind walking through it, I'd be forever grateful!
