In 1 document (A) I am taking data from other document (B) with formula.
=SI('Z:\COMEX\[FORMAT DOCS.xlsm]FORMAT'!$N14="";"";'Z:\COMEX\[FORMAT DOCS.xlsm]FORMAT'!$C$4)
However when I open first A and than open B that formula is changing to.=SI('[FORMAT DOCS.xlsm]#¡REF'!$N14="";"";'[FORMAT DOCS.xlsm]#¡REF'!$C$4)
This problem I do not have when I first open B and then A.
What is wrong here?
do you get the option to update links when you open A?
If so select yes.
by selecting no you are breaking the links.
A has links to b but B has no links to A.

Thanks for your help though I do not get any message when I open A. It just open and when I open B the error as explained before.

Is it maybe because both of the files are located on a Z/ drive, meaning on a network?
