Multi fiscal year Formula Help please

Hi, I am trying to collate a spread sheet where I have an invoice date, but want to sort it by financial year (my financial year is August to July). The data stems over 11 years and am struggling to find a formula or expression that might help me lump the data in to the correct order. Any help would be appreciated
