Displaying Lookup List; without Blank entries or Repitition and in Sorted Order

Hello Wizards!

Trying to build a Software Info, for my friend, I am using LIST of values from the "License" column of another Worksheet. There are Blank Rows; as well as; Repeated Entries, and the entries are Unordered.
I want the LIST without these anomalies. I hope to get help, as always.

Actually, there is another issue, as well, regarding the "Sub-categories" column. Here, I want to select an appropriate value from the same worksheet. But, if I am asking too much, then just ignore this point.

I have attached the Sample file for reference. Thanks in anticipation.

Regards.

Why not rearrange the data on the lookups sheet.
Then create named ranges for all the items then use dependant validation on the software list sheet?

List the unique values in the Categories list horizontally, then place the items associated with them below them.
example:
graphics
convertor
chart/graph
other
suit

Thanks, Windy58, for your attention and suggestion. Although, the point seems quite helpful; I am, unfortunately, not very well-versed with its implementation. It will be your kindness to elaborate more on your point, with some example; if possible.

Regards.

Could you provide a few samples of what your expected outcome would look like?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
