Multiplication of several numbers in one cell

    Hello everyone,

I need your help in the below issue:
I need to create a table where i have several numbers in one cell (A), and several numbers in another cell (B), and I need to have in the cell AxB the multiplication of these numbers.
In excel I managed to have this only when every number is located in a cell and row by itself. I need to have all numbers in one cell (I am trying to avoid merging cells together).

I have highlighted the cells that I'm hoping to fill.
    Can someone help pls?

    Thanks,
    Dina

    Hey Dina,

Is this a consistent format or will the cell length very.. Meaning is there always going to be 3 values smashed into a single cell for A and B?

    hey ELeGault,
no it is not consistent. everycell will have a different numbers of values; sometimes 3 , sometimes 1 and sometimes more.

Any formula I write will be ridiculous in size then as it will have to do various checks within itself to complete the operation.

It would likely serve you better to go into the VBA section and request help in writing a VBA/Macro that can either multiply them out and inject the value/result to the designated section
    or
VBA/Macro to create an unmerged copy up to X(Define max amount expected) columns for later use.

There are ways of Looping actions in VBA that a formula directly in the cell would be ridiculous in size.

Though you may find someone that is thinking of something that I am not... but currently I would recommend the VBA route -
