Vertical Sumif or Match index Formula help

Hi All,

First time user, and stuck!

I'm trying to sum columns according to a date, and believe I might need to use a match index formula, but I can't quote work it out.

2 01/02/2014 (formula)
3 01/03/2014

7 01/01/2014 01/02/2014 01/03/2014 01/04/2014
8 10 50
9 30 50
10 20 50
11 30 50
12 20 50

In Cel B1 I want a formula that looks for the date in A1 in the range of A7:D7 and them sums the vertical numbers.
The answers I want in B1 and B2 are 110 and 250 respectively.
