Can someone help me figure out why my sumproduct formula isn't computing correctly?
I'm ranking some baseball pitchers based on a running total in Column AD, if two players have the same total in column AD the formula uses column BA as a tiebreaker. I have an overall rank for all pitchers, both AL (American League) and NL (National League). I want to break this ranking into a separate ranking in column G for AL only pitchers and column H for NL only pitchers
Where I'm running into trouble is the numbers aren't adding up correctly, cell H10 should read as a 1 because the Top ranked pitcher from column F pitches in the NL which would automatically make his NL rank 1 instead of 2 as it currently shows. The 2nd pitcher in column H11 should be a 2 instead of a 3 and so on.
In addition, the pitcher in cell G14 should also rank as a 1 because he is the top ranked AL pitcher from column E.
I've attached a my worksheet. Thanks!
