Named Range auto adjust by date in column

I have simple question hopefully. I need to create a named range that will adjust by the date. I have a simple spreadsheet with the date listed in column A – one day per row. This is for a staff schedule. I would like to specify a named range that encompasses and starts from the current date in column A and ~10 more rows below and 7 columns to the right. I’ve tried several match formula’s in the Named Range formula bar, but can’t get it to work.

Any ideas/advice? Thanks

The dynamic range that starts at today's date and continues down for 10 rows and 7 columns can be defined as:

=OFFSET(A1,MATCH(TODAY(),A:A,0)-1,,10,7)

Based on the sample data that range would be A8:G17.
