    Excel VLookUp Problem

    Good morning,

I am hoping someone can help me with a problem I'm having in the attached spreadsheet.

I want excel in cell I5 to:

Look at the following 2 criteria: Group cell I2 and the Proposed Amount cell I4. Find those in the data table B3:E20 and return the appropriate Proposed Level from coloumn F.

    Any formula ideas is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Re: Excel VLookUp Problem

    Hi,

Yes it is but I thought excel will know when it looks up the group and proposed amount that it is in that location anyway.

    Thanks.

    Re: Excel VLookUp Problem

    Hi,

The formulas from nflsales and boopathiraja both return a higher figure than is available from the Proposed Level column. You can change the stage to 2,3 or 4 and select a relevant Proposed figure to test that.

    Thank you for trying.
