Is this whayt you meant (in I3).
=INDEX($A$2:$A$7,MATCH(1,$F$2:$F$7,0))

Have you tried the WEEKNUM function?

Cheers Glenn spot on mate, Pete I was using false dates as the week start numbers so unfortunately the weeknum wouldnt have worked, cheers any way mate.
