Conditional Formatting Not Updating Instantly

Hello,

I have a file which I'm using conditional formatting to shade certain cells based on a "Yes" or "No" dropdown list. I can do this in one file and it works fine so it's not a formula issue, but I suspect something specific to the actual file in which I'm trying to use this. If I select "No", certain cells should highlight yellow. When I select "No", the cell doesn't immediately change color, but if I drag my mouse over it, it appears highlighted. If I select "Yes", it doesn't change either until I drag my mouse over it or switch tabs and then back. It's almost like it just doesn't refresh immediately. I've checked options and automatic calculations, but not sure if that would affect it.

Any thoughts?
