    Direct cell reference vs Indirect

    Hi guys, I have a large(ish) file 50mg, with various calculations in it.

    I have since moved from Excel 2007 to Excel 2013 and the file calculation is 4 times slower in 2013 than in 2007.

    I am trying to smarten up some of the formula to try and reduce the calculation time. I have a lot of formula which are (for instance)

    instead (obviously over lots of rows these formula are repeated)

    Any other tips on speeding up Excel 2013

    Using open ranges will slow down calculation process. You will get much better results when using set ranges.

    So using O2, O3, O4 etc is better than indirect(O:O,row())?
