Formula needed to extract/delete "PS" text in only certain cells

I need to extract/delete the first two letters (which are "PS") that are in many of the cells- but not all.

If you look at the attachment, column A has the employee ID's. Some of the cells -as part of the export- placed a "PS" in the very front of the ID. I need to delete the first two letters in ONLY the cells that contain "PS" as the first two letters. The rest of the ID should then be populated in column B. And in the case where there is not a cell that contains a "PS" as the first two letters, that would just simply be "copied" into column B.
