I have a workbook that records box scores from a baseball game. Tab 1 is Visitors, Tab 2 is Home, Tab 3 is player data, and Tab 4 is statistics gathered from the Visitors and Home box score results. Each entry in the box score (Tabs 1 & 2) is generated by a random calculation (F9 function key) based on the player data (Tab 3).

My issue is that when I recalculate a "play", the calculation is very slow in Tab 1, but very quick in Tab 2. Both have the same formulas, exact copies of each other, with the exception of "home" and "visitor" in the formula.

Is there some sort of operational sequencing that occurs throughout the workbook that's causing the slowdown in Tab 1?

Thanks
