Is that date formatted as text? If yes maybe:

=VALUE(MID(A1,3,2))&", "&EOMONTH(VALUE(LEFT(A1,2)),0)&", "&VALUE(RIGHT(A1,4))

I want to get last month date of every previous month.

You can use the following formula to create the date for the last day of the month.

=DATE(YEAR(A1);MONTH(A1)+1;DAY(1)-1)

Cell A1 contains a date.

If A1 contains 2014-10-24 then the formula will return the date 2014-10-31.
