formula for speed

Hi Guys,
please can some one tell me the formula for calculating average speed i.e. cell a:1 time format 00:09 (9 minutes) cell a:2 5.3 (miles) cell a:3 formula to calculate average speed.

You can use this formula in A3 for average mph

=A2/A1/24

format A3 as number
