Exclamation Conditional Formatting of an entire Row or Rows based on text found/present in any one cel

    Hi Folks.

Is there a way to use formulas with conditional formatting to do the following?

For range A4:AX2000 of worksheet named 'WI SHSD' :

Conditionally format all rows (it will likely be a larger font and a pale colored fill) where the text "Total" appears in any cell in that corresponding row?

E.g. Row 8 of this worksheet has a cell (H8) where the words 'Bagley Total' appear. I desire for conditional formatting to, for instance, format this entire row and any row like it, but not rows where the text 'Total' does not appear.

Is this feasible? VBA or Conditional Formatting/formula solutions welcome. Thanks for your time!

To achieve this follow these steps......

Select the range A4:AX2000 --> Conditional Formatting --> New Rule --> Use a formula to determine which cells to format --> In the box below "Format values where this formula is true", paste the formula given below --> Format --> Set formatting as per your choice --> OK.

    Does this help?
