Dragging a formula down a column that graps value from a row every 7 cells across?

    Hello all

I have my sheets set up so every column is a day of the week ie a1-a7 = mon-sunday,a8-15 = mon - sunday

Every sunday there is a weekly total in its own row I want to be able to grab the sunday figures and drag them down a column to make a table of the sunday values to chart them. For Example:

    Sunday 15 Jun 15%
    Sunday 22 Jun 12%
    Sunday 29 Jun 14%

    Then chart the new table

When I drag the formula down the column it seems to lose its place in the row

    Help!

    Thank you

    Jonny

Do you want the values to be congruent (i.e. a small table) or each placed next to the appropriate Sunday?
Is the first column actual dates or is it days of the week? How is it presented?

    Hello ChemistB

I want the value to be placed next to each appropriate sunday

1st column is the date and the 2nd column is the values from each Sunday

    In D2 (for example)

    =IF(TEXT(A2,"ddd")="Sun", B2,"")
    copied down
    Does that work for you?
