    Index and Match formula

Hello! I seem to be stumped again unfortunately, need to use a nested Index and Match function to pull certain data from a filtered list and trying to follow the examples but I'm just completely lost, I need to pull the Art title and release date from the highest estimated value piece within the filtered set, I currently have

which is returning #NA so, I know I have something wrong unfortunately. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Re: Index and Match formula

Shooting from the hip there are two things wrong.

MATCH takes an array not a matrix as it's second argument, so throwing it a square block of cells like A15:J176 will make it throw the #N/A error. You have to give it a linear range of one row or one column only.

If there's still a problem after fixing that, whatever is in cell C14 is not a match for anything in column A15:A76, that would also thrown an #N/A error. (If it's text-matching there might be a spelling difference, or extra space characters " " in there or something).

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate.

Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Re: Index and Match formula

Alright, I'm making some progress, but it's returning something not within the filtered set, I have
    Formula: copy to clipboard

but it's returning like I mentioned before something not within the filtered data set and not even close to the price. Do I need another function other than Index and Match for this to work?

    Thanks,

    Xandler
