De-duplicate + print on the fly

    Hi all,

I am looking for a forumla that I can paste into excel and it will lookup repeating text in A:A, dedup and print. The nearest I have got is =IFERROR(INDEX($A$10:$A$48,MATCH(0,COUNTIFS($E$9:E9,$A$10:$A$48),0)),"") however this does not work on the fly and it had to match up to the text exactly '$A$10:$A$48' not $A:$A

Please find the attached $$ for reference.

As always thank you for your time.

What I understand is (correct me if i am wrong) you want unique Company types - 3 in this case i.e. Employees, Reseller & Distributor.
For this you can simply use advanced filter select the whole range (column A), click on unique records and specify the location where u want to this to appear.

    Hope this helps

    hi,
Is this what you are trying to achieve .
or provide the expected results manually in the sheet .

Re: De-duplicate + print on the fly

    Hi Punnam,

Thanks for the efforts but this doesnt work.

If I was to copy and paste into excel =sum(a1+a2) soon as this is dumped in it will calculate. However, with the formula above this doesnt work as it needs ctl+shift+entre so I am trying to find a way round it :/.

The reason for this is I have to extract data from 30 excel sheets every week and all the figures are based on the 'company type'. So in order to get the figures i have to pull the data de-dup and paste it in. Having something which is 'on the fly' would help me a great deal.
