    how to create an IF state that allows me to change month and update the document

    how can I create an IF then formula that allows me to just change the name of the month
    in that cell B30 and have the cell G30 update with correspoding answer based on the month I type in?

    For example in my excel document.
    If I type "November" in B30 I get G30=3 . thats cool

    but now I want to enter "July" in B30 and have G30 update to 17
    or enter " September and G30 update to 9

    How would I do that?

    This formula returns the sum of Col_F values where the corresponding Col_B month name matches B30
