Sum ifs order of operation

Guys,

here is my formula

=SUMIFS(Table_NCM.accdb4[[#All],[CountOfStatus]],Table_NCM.accdb4[[#All],[weekending]],I5,Table_NCM.accdb4[[#All],[Status]],"Open")/SUMIFS(Table_NCM.accdb4[[#All],[CountOfStatus]],Table_NCM.accdb4[[#All],[weekending]],I5,Table_NCM.accdb4[[#All],[Status]],"Open")+SUMIFS(Table_NCM.accdb4[[#All],[CountOfStatus]],Table_NCM.accdb4[[#All],[weekending]],I5,Table_NCM.accdb4[[#All],[Status]],"Complete")


i want it to do this A/(y+z)
10/(5+5) = 1

but instead i got

(A+y)/Z

Without seeing what this relates to, its really hard (for me at least) to see what that is doing (I hate structured tables btw lol), but it looks like maybe you have the entire range in the 1st argument? I believe SUMIFS() needs the 1st argument to be a single column range

Its was a matter of putting brackets at right place..

No, what you actually have at present is a/y+z.

Change to:

See the extra brackets in red? That makes it evaluate as a/(y+z)

Also notice how using linebreaks in your formula can make it much more readable...
