averaging values if a certain name is next to it

I am trying to figure out how I could find an average of values if and only if a certain name is next to it.

    example.xlsx

in the example text, I want to find the average of all the cells that have "bob" in column B. I want it to be the entire column and not just part of it. I have been looking around but I have not found what I was looking for.
