countif 16 digits nymber stored as text, by date criteria

Hello everybody!

I am trying to build a formula that counts the ticket range(16 digits number stored as text)by date criteria range(in my case monthly)
The number range of the tickets is 2014000000000000 to 2018000000000000.
I dont have a specific number of rows,they just keep coming

Can you please help me?

What are your results going to look like?

What results do you expect for your example?

There are no dates in jun or july so your data does not find 1 data that match.

Please add the desired (expected) result in your file (and post it again)

I want to know the number of tickets i handle every month and eventually to fix a chart.

i fixed a secondary table with start and end date per month(AG20&AG1) and build this formula

=COUNTIFS(RECORDS[ΗΜΕΡ.ΕΚΤ];">="&AG20;RECORDS[ΗΜΕΡ.ΕΚΤ];"<="&AG21;RECORDS[TICKET];"*")

and works fine
