I have a large column of cells that contains item #'s that all begin with the letter V. I need to remove the letter V from all cells so that only the number is left. Any help on how to do this with a formula?

Find and replace
Ctrl+F & Ctrl+P
Find "V" & replace leave it empty .
If not update a sample workbook without any confidential data .
Punnam
That will work unless "V" occurs again in the cell, eg V12345V2
Alternatively use a Helper column
=RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-1)
and copy down

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
